These terms cover your use of GroomDesk, run by App Agentic Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: hello@groomdesk.pet.
The service
GroomDesk gives dog groomers an online booking page, a calendar, client and dog records, vaccine checks, reminders and related tools, on the web and through AI assistants they connect. We may improve or change features over time.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and using GroomDesk for your business.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including actions you ask a connected AI assistant to take.
- Give accurate information, and keep your prices, hours and policies up to date.
Your clients and their information
- You are responsible for the client and dog information you keep in GroomDesk, and for having the right to use it.
- Only text clients who have agreed to receive texts, and only send marketing texts to clients who agreed to those. GroomDesk records consent and handles STOP replies, but you are responsible for how you use texting.
- Vaccine checks rely on the dates and documents clients give. Check the documents yourself; GroomDesk doesn't verify them.
- You set and apply your own booking, cancellation and deposit policies with your clients.
AI assistants
If you connect an AI assistant, it acts on your instructions in your account. Check what it proposes before you approve it. Messages to clients are shown to you before they are sent. Your use of the assistant is also covered by its provider's terms.
Plans and payment
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card needed. After the trial, choose a plan to keep using GroomDesk; if you don't, your account pauses and nothing is deleted.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe, on our website, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from the Plan page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't give refunds for part-used periods unless the law requires it.
- If we change prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal.
- Deposits your clients pay go to your own Stripe account under Stripe's terms. We don't take a fee from them.
Acceptable use
Don't use GroomDesk to send spam, to break the law, to store information you have no right to, or to try to access other people's accounts or disrupt the service.
Your content
Your information stays yours. You let us use it only to provide GroomDesk to you. You can export or delete it at any time by contacting us.
Availability and liability
- We work to keep GroomDesk running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost bookings, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to what you paid us in that time.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we can.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction, without taking away any rights you have under the laws where you live.
